Being a Joy member should feel like having a lifeline in your pocket. We are committed to answering any question related to parenting, babies, and child development big or small. Your membership comes with a 24/7 support service called Joy On Call for personalized expert answers. It also gives you access to our library of thousands of articles and videos, as well as access to exclusive Joy member benefits and family services.
Joy on Call allows new parents to connect directly with Joy Experts and Parent Coaches to provide on demand support, answering questions that naturally come up when home with a new baby. Answers are delivered through text message to make life easier for parents, who are able to take part in back and forth conversations to receive personalized, supportive advice.
We are committed to providing consistent, high quality, accessible support for families. Because of that, we offer a range of pricing options so you can find the right one for your family. Please visit our Member Plans page to learn more.
One of our most strongly held values at Joy is that we are a resource for the full family- that means any parent or primary caregiver. We do not believe that it is one parent’s job to do all the learning or “teach” their spouse how to parent. If your spouse or partner would like access to Joy, please let your parent coach know and we can make sure they get set up with an account.
When you join the Joy Parenting Club, you will be introduced to our Parent Coach team through text message.. Parent Coaches have recently gone through their own new parent journey, and have lots of advice, recommendations, and support to give. They can also simply listen and validate what you are going through, and empathize based on their own experience. When questions come up related specifically to infant feeding or sleep, or anything related to toddlers or older children, Parent Coaches will introduce one of our certified experts who will help answer your question and work with you to build out a custom plan.
Joy is not a replacement for medical services or mental health therapy. Your Parent Coach is best suited to answer questions related to general baby care, tips and tricks for new parents, advice, support, or recommendations. Parents often ask their Coach questions like “Is it normal that my newborn doesn’t like the bath?” or “What type of diaper cream did you find most effective?” or sometimes even just vent: “I got no sleep last night, I’m exhausted”. Our certified Sleep and Feeding Experts can answer any question that falls into these categories. Joy on Call is not a replacement for diagnostic or medical advice. If any question asked relates to the health and wellbeing of a baby or parent, the Joy on Call team will recommend you seek professional medical advice or support.
We are a resource for you as a parent, regardless of the age or stage of your baby or child. We work with thousands of parents of newborns (and expecting parents!), as well as parents of children up through the elementary school ages. Our team of experts is experienced in all aspects of child development and all elements of the parenting journey.
